Project Overview
Attoinfotech was commissioned to create the digital front-end and platform infrastructure for the Talent Chess Game project. The development work needed to reflect the strategic, interactive, game-simulation nature of the product, while delivering a corporate-grade web presence for lead generation, information, and future scalability.

About the Client
Talent Chess Game is positioned as a strategic simulation designed to help organizational leaders and talent managers practise decision-making around talent, roles, resource allocation and organisational value creation. For example, one description states:
“This simulation immerses managers in talent management essentials … each action has a cost and an impact on the value of the organization.”
The objective: to turn abstract leadership/talent-management principles into an experiential learning environment where participants “play” through decisions and see consequences.
Project Objectives
Key objectives for this development work included:
- Brand & Communication: To clearly articulate what Talent Chess Game is, how it works (features like “Talent Actions”, “Limited Resources”, “Multiple Rounds”) and why organisations should invest.
- Website Platform: To build a website that conveys the simulation offering, showcases workshop modules, client use-cases, and acts as a lead-capture tool.
- Scalable Simulation Integration: Though the core simulation engine is separate, the website was to integrate / support access to the simulation, manage user journeys, and provide a digital “gateway” to the game experience.
- User Experience & Responsiveness: Given enterprise/leadership user base, the site must be clean, professional, responsive across devices, optimised for performance.
- Future-proofing: The platform must allow for future expansion — adding new simulation modules, certifications, client dashboards, multi-language support, etc.
Development Process & Methodology
Discovery & Strategy
- Attoinfotech led discovery workshops with the Talent Chess Game team to understand the educational/game-simulation model, target user personas (e.g., CHROs, L&D heads, leadership teams), and key value propositions.
- Audit of existing presence and competitor simulation-tools to define differentiation and UX flows.
- Definition of user journey: Visitor → Understand Simulation Value → Explore Modules → Request Demo/Workshop → Engage.
Design Phase
- Created wireframes/mockups for key pages: Home, Features, Workshops/Modules, Resources, Contact/Request-Demo.
- Design language reflected “strategy & game” metaphor: chess/board imagery, resource-allocation metaphors, minimal but strong visuals to convey seriousness and premium feel.
- Mobile-first and responsive design ensured accessible on tablets and phones (important for busy executives).
- UI elements: clear CTA buttons (“Request Demo”, “Explore Modules”), clean navigation, visuals supporting simulation concept.
Development Phase
- Platform built using modern web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive framework (e.g., Bootstrap or similar) for device support.
- CMS integration (for example WordPress or a custom CMS) so the Talent Chess Game team can update content, modules, case-studies, resources.
- Simulation gateway integration: While the core simulation lives separately, the website supports linking, user account creation, and leads into the simulation environment.
- SEO and performance: Implementation of meta-tags, clean URL structures, image optimisation, caching, minified assets to support performance.
- Analytics/tracking: Google Analytics / Tag Manager setup to track visitor behaviour, lead forms, module interest.
- Lead-capture system: Contact forms, demo request forms integrated with email/CRM workflows.
Testing & Launch
- Cross-device/browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS/Android mobile) to ensure consistent UX.
- Performance testing: verifying load times, responsiveness, image load optimisation.
- Security: SSL certificate, secure forms, basic protection against spam, form validation.
- Go-live deployment on a stable hosting environment with backup and monitoring.
Post-Launch Support
-
Training delivered to Talent Chess Game team for CMS usage — adding new modules, updating visuals, managing resources.
- Support period post-launch for bug-fixes, minor enhancements.
- Recommendations provided for future roadmap: e-learning modules, client login area, gamified analytics dashboard, multi-language support.
Key Features & Highlights
Clear Feature-Driven Communication: The website details simulation features such as “Limited Resources”, “Talent Actions”, “Multiple Rounds” to convey the serious-game approach.
Workshop / Module Catalogue: Clear listing of how the simulation is used (leadership sessions, talent review workshops) providing credibility and context.
Lead Generation Flow: Easy to find “Request Demo” or contact form — channeling in-interest into users.
Responsive, Professional Visual Design: The brand tone suits corporate leadership audience — no gimmicks, just strong strategic imagery.
Scalable Architecture: Built so the site can evolve — new modules, expanded content, potentially user-login areas, analytics dashboards.
Outcomes & Impact
Stronger Online Presence: Talent Chess Game gained a website aligned with its brand positioning as a premium simulation for leadership/talent decision-making.
Improved Lead Conversion Potential: With clear messaging and structured flow, the website is better positioned to convert organisational interest into demo/workshop enquiries.
Scalable Platform for Growth: Attoinfotech delivered a foundation that allows the product to evolve with more modules and perhaps client dashboards without major rework.
Enhanced User Experience: Corporate users can quickly grasp the value and engage across devices — reducing friction in the decision journey.
Better Data Insights: With analytics in place, Talent Chess Game can monitor which modules attract most interest, tweak messaging, and plan future development.
Challenges & How They Were Addressed
Abstract Concept to Clear Website Messaging: Translating a complex simulation (talent-management + game mechanics) into digestible web content was challenging. We addressed this by simplifying language, using metaphors (chess/resources) and designing clear feature lists and benefits.
Corporate Audience Expectations vs Interactive Feel: Balancing a game-simulation vibe with professionalism required careful design. We used clean visuals, strategic imagery, and avoided overly playful language to keep credibility high.
Performance versus Visual Richness: To maintain premium feel (images, visuals) while ensuring fast load times (especially mobile), we implemented image-compression, lazy-loading, caching plugins and a responsive layout.
Scalability & Future Proofing: The expectation that more modules and features would be added meant the CMS and site architecture had to be modular and flexible. We built the site with modular templates and clear content structures to support this.
Conclusion
The collaboration between Attoinfotech and Talent Chess Game resulted in a robust, strategic web platform that effectively communicates a sophisticated simulation product to senior leadership audiences. From discovery through design, development, launch and ongoing support, the project emphasised clarity, performance, scalability and brand-alignment.
The result: a digital experience that supports the business objective of turning simulation interest into meaningful engagement, while laying the technical foundation for growth and evolution.
